What's it all about? The Australian Celtic Festival in Glen Innes, Northern NSW is unique for its colour, spectacle and range of entertainment and history.

Australian International Animation Festival
What's it all about? AIAF's in Wagga Wagga is undoubtedly one of the most relaxed and informal animation festivals you’ll find anywhere! With premier international screenings and informative seminars, there's ample time for a surprise screening or two to celebrate this very special artform, before programs are selected to tour nationally.
The festival has been recieving 2,000 submissions from 30 countries - a remarkable response from filmmakers and producers right around the world. The range of styles, genres and techniques is testament to the vibrancy and relevance of creative animation.

Blues at Bridgetown
What? The Blues at Bridgetown Festival started as a small community run event to promote Bridgetown as a tourist destination during what used to be a quiet time of the year!
Since 1993 an international celebration of Blues music, has been held over three days in the beautiful and idyllic setting of the Bridgetown, 272kms south-east of Perth. The program, in excess of 170 hours, showcases a diverse range of blues music at various venues around the town.

Queenscliff Music Festival
What? Queenscliff Music Festival is a great party in a great place. The Festival is an eclectic mix of Australian artists coming to Queenscliff, in Victoria, from around the country.
Where? Queenscliff is a charming town perched between the shores of Swan and Port Phillip Bays in Victoria. Both beautiful and historic, there is much to do and see in the township and surrounds.
Historical Queenscliff had been used as a military base, a fishing village and fort. An enduring legacy of this rich past is its wonderful architecture, including grand old Victorian-era hotels, the fort, the black lighthouse and the old pilot boat shed on the Queenscliff pier. The beauty of the natural landscape has been captured by local artists and is represented in galleries. These are within strolling distance of great restaurants and cafes

OzManouche Gypsy Jazz Festival in Brisbane
What? OzManouche is Australia's premiere Manouche Gypsy Jazz Festival. Hosted by the Brisbane Jazz Club at Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, Oz Manouche is three days of concert performances, workshops, masterclasses, film screenings, merchandise stalls, food, licensed bar, chalkboard performances and endless jamming opportunities! Festivals dedicated to jazz manouche are held around the world, the most notable being the Samois Festival du Django Reinhardt in France. Across Australia there are many musicians and fans of this music, so it's time to have our own jazz manouche festival, and bring us all together!

Who is Appearing? 2010. Featuring Robin Nolan, one of the great current Manouche guitarists with a style all his own, as well as Eurobop 5 - Paul Bulanyi's tribute to the two-clarinet lineups of Django Reinhardt's war years, not to mention Bonjour Swing from New Zealand, Australian violinist Ian Cooper teaming up with our patron Ian Date, the amazing Greshka and the Ewan MacKenzie Quartet.
Adelaide Fringe Festival Funky Poster
At least 740 events will be part in next year's Adelaide Fringe festival scheduled for Feb 18 to March 13, 2011, a 65 per cent increase in event registrations since 2006.
The Fringe poster for next year's arts event has been created by Bulgarian designer Kamen Goranov.
Organisers say it depicts two wild characters made up of a collage of photography, stencils, paint and computer-generated images.
"The inspiration for my design was to create an ironic, sarcastic and humorous image combining different elements, using mainly a collage technique," the artist said.
"As Adelaide is situated on the coast I gave both characters some marine attributes - a ship tattoo for the king and octopus arms for the queen.
"My intention was to create some weird, strange icon but with some attributes, like the two crowns, that identify them as king and queen."
It is the first time an overseas artist has created the official Fringe poster.
The artistic Director for the event is Greg Clarke whose vision and direction is being watched with great interest.
More than a million people are expected to attend.

World Architecture Festival Australian Cox Rayner Architects Winners
World Architecture Festival in Barcelona. The Transport category has been won by Australian practice Cox Rayner Architects for the the Helix Bridge in Singapore. The Helix Bridge was a “strong winner due to the uniqueness of its weaving of structure and form. An additional strong point of the structure is derived from its ability to curve in plan and section due to its helical form.”
Other Day 2 winners included Aedas (Hong Kong), AGi Architects (Spain), Perkins+Will (USA), Erginoglu&Calislar (Turkey), TOCA (Turkey), Suisman Urban Design (USA), Menis Arquitectos (Spain), Sanjay Puri Architects (India), Turenscape (China) and David Chipperfield Architects (UK) with b720 Arquitectos (Spain).
